Taslima Yasmin is a legal expert on EVAW-related laws and an Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka, as well as a Chevening Scholar with extensive experience in legal research and academia. She has worked with leading INGOs and UN agencies, and her expertise in analyzing GBV-related laws and policies is reflected in her numerous publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
A.K.M. Bulbul Ahmed is a seasoned legal and development professional with over 15 years of experience in policy advocacy, legal aid, and capacity building, focusing on the rights and inclusion of marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities. He has worked with national and international organizations to develop inclusive policies, engage stakeholders, and promote human rights, gender equality, and access to justice through practical, rights-based approaches.

Irfath Ara Iva is a GESI expert with over 20 years of experience in gender justice, social inclusion, and rights-based development, with strong expertise in research, policy advocacy, and program implementation. She has worked with leading international organizations to conduct assessments and promote inclusive, gender-responsive development for marginalized communities.
Selina Akhter Keya is a development professional with around 18 years of experience, specializing in gender, social inclusion, programme management, policy advocacy, and capacity development. She has worked with leading organizations and donors including BRAC, USAID, Winrock International, and Chemonics, contributing to GESI integration and promoting inclusive development for marginalized communities in line with SDG principles.
Farhana Afroz is a seasoned development professional with over 20 years of experience, specializing in gender equality, social inclusion, and the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV), and has led numerous gender-focused initiatives across organizations. She has held key leadership roles in organizations like Christian Aid, USAID-funded projects, and BRAC, driving policy advocacy, strengthening support systems for vulnerable groups, and ensuring gender and inclusion are integrated into development and resilience programs.
Nusrat Jahan is a Mental Health Practitioner with 10 years of experience in trauma counseling, child and adolescent therapy, and family well-being, working with marginalized groups including Rohingya and vulnerable communities. She specializes in preventive mental health through training, curriculum development, and awareness programs for educators, health professionals, and organizational leaders.

Mohammed Shofiqul Islam is a research professional with 24 years of experience in sampling design, data analysis, and socio-economic research across various sectors. He has worked with major donor agencies like USAID, EU, and UKAID, with expertise in gender, land rights, food security, and community development.
Md. Sarwar is a monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) professional with over 25 years of experience in developing and implementing MEL systems across development projects. He has worked with organizations like UNICEF, USAID, Save the Children, and CARE Bangladesh, with strong expertise in surveys, evaluations, and gender-focused research.
Mr. Arefin is an M&E professional with over 20 years of experience, including 12 years specializing in gender-sensitive and results-based monitoring systems, capacity building, and evaluations across sectors like governance, WASH, and resilience. He has worked with organizations such as BRAC, World Bank, and FCDO, and has developed systems, dashboards, and GESI-responsive frameworks to strengthen monitoring, reporting, and program effectiveness.
Field Research Team
Saiara Lamia Sarah is a researcher specializing in gender analysis, climate resilience, and disaster risk reduction, with strong expertise in quantitative and mixed-method research. She has conducted large-scale surveys and innovative studies using tools like SPSS and Kobo, focusing on urban health, women’s livelihoods, and community adaptation strategies.
Since 2006, Nahid Sharmin has been working in research and policy development with international organizations such as UNDP, UNFPA, and Transparency International, focusing on gender, social inclusion, and women’s empowerment. She has a strong academic background in development studies and currently works as a Gender Analyst at the a2i programme, contributing to gender-focused policy and research.
Saima Akter Dipty is a motivated and responsible individual seeking to contribute to development programs by utilizing her skills, experience, and leadership abilities to ensure productivity and organizational success. She has experience as a youth leader inspiring many young people and holds an MA in Management from Eden College.
Juliet Rossette is a development professional with over 21 years of experience in social research, policy advocacy, and campaign development, focusing on community development, gender equality, and climate resilience. She has worked with major donors like USAID, UNICEF, and FCDO, and brings strong expertise in stakeholder engagement, strategic communication, and policy influence aligned with SDGs.
